We offer a selection of wonderful single or double rooms, luxury apartments with sitting room accommodation for couples, and many of the rooms have en-suites. Every room is tastefully furnished however we encourage residents to personalise their rooms by adding small items of furniture where appropriate and photographs and ornaments and make it as homely as they wish. Our specialised Dementia accommodation, Coach House and Cottage, has its own functional living spaces and decor to reflect the needs of the residents who call it home.

Personalised rooms

In addition to our delightful grounds and beautiful communal accommodation, residents can also enjoy their own personal space. Each bedroom is different to the next, and to help residents to really feel at home, we encourage them to add to the décor of their room with small items of furniture, photos, ornaments and decorations. Our friendly staff are here to help with any personal touches you wish to make.

Coach House and Cottage

The Coach House and Cottage provide home from home accommodation for people who may have a diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimer’s, or who may have additional needs that require extra support. Staff working in Coach and Cottage have in-depth training in Dementia, associated specialisms, and personhood and wellbeing. We are therefore able to offer high levels of support to residents with complex care needs.

We encourage families to assist in completing memory boxes and bring into Field House personal items including furniture to help resident’s identify and personalise their room. In the Coach House and Cottage we encourage and support residents to be themselves, and staff embrace the differences and the richness of experiences and stories that our residents have. The Coach House and Cottage is a place of happiness and comfort, with an emphasis on increased wellbeing and holistic care.

Our chosen murals form talking points about which residents can discuss any manner of things, from remembered experiences to personal opinions, and can lead to organic reminiscing. We are always continuing to improve the surroundings for our residents on their Dementia journey, from the simplest things like the twiddle blankets and memory boxes, to just making the rooms light and fresh.
