Because we care...

A very warm welcome to Field House in Stourbridge

Field House Residential Care Home provides first class accommodation and extremely high quality 24 hour specialist care both for residents requiring personal care and also care and support for people with all forms of Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Our care and services include residential care, specialist dementia care, palliative care, respite care and couples care, all provided within a homely, welcoming and comfortable environment. Located just outside the village of Hagley in a tranquil countryside location, Field House is a stunning Grade ll listed building, surrounded by the luscious greenery of the Clent Hills, making it a truly magical place to reside. We provide quality accommodation and the highest standard of care for up to 54 residents.

Our care packages are tailored to each resident’s needs and include person-specific care plans, life histories, and support from visiting professionals including the district nurse team, opticians, dentists, physiotherapists, and more. Unlike many other specialist homes, Field House offers  a true ‘home from home’ environment. Every aspect of care, activities and nutrition is planned and delivered according to the needs and wishes of each individual resident with the goal of enhancing their overall wellbeing.

Our ethos is centred around the residents, and we see the house as their home with us being the visitors. Having been described as ‘extraordinary’, ‘incredible’ and ‘extremely loving’, our dedicated and professional care staff strive to deliver the best possible home for all our residents and ensure they are happy at all times. In addition to the care that we provide for our residents, we also offer an unparalleled community spirit and family-like atmosphere. That’s why we offer daily afternoon tea and dinner free of charge to family and friends so you can enjoy time with your loved ones and feel just as at home as our residents.

Life at Field House

A key objective at Field House is to ensure that the daily lives of our residents are as comfortable and fulfilling as possible. Our dedicated staff are highly-trained and experienced and they do their utmost to provide stimulating and active lives for all residents in order to promote the highest levels of contentment. We continuously engage and encourage them to get involved in activities, to continue or to take up new hobbies, and arrange events that encompass not only the residents and staff, but also family members.

We understand that each and every resident has their own preferences and requirements when it comes to their care, so everyone is treated on an individual basis, tailoring their care package and assistance around their emotional needs, personalities, preferences, and capabilities.

We want to encourage independence and self-sufficiency as much as is possible. However, if a resident simply wants to be on their own, to read a book, watch television etc, we ensure those needs are met. At Field House you can live your life your way.

Here are just a few of the things that makes Field House special for our residents and their families.

The staff made my father feel part of a family. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Well done, keep up the good work.
